Wellness Tips

Working at a Desk
Make sure that you are getting up every 20 minutes to stretch. The type of chair you have is extremely important. It should fit you correctly so that your back touches the chair and your feet are on the floor with knees at a 90 degree angle. Try to avoid looking down at your computer screen. It should be at eye level.
Lifting
Lifting objects is one of the most common ways to injure yourself. Even if it is a light object, twisting or pulling in the wrong direction when you're not stretched out can have a damaging effect on muscles and the spine. You always want to bend at the knees and avoid lifting anything you know is too heavy.

Testimonials

For years, I have experienced top-notch care with a gentle hand from Dr. Kava, and a warm conversation with a smile from Evelyn.

Diane Fisher

Extremely pleasant and professional yet personable, both Dr. Kava and Evelyn genuinely care about the well-being of the patients. From assisting with insurance questions to following up with a phone call. I couldn’t be more impressed than and as highly respectful of them as I currently am. The general atmosphere of the office is very comfortable, clean, and welcoming!

Dr. Kava was incredibly responsive to the stress and pain I was experiencing. She really took her time to figure out what was wrong with my back. It has been years since I have been given this much personal attention at a doctor's office. I only wish I knew about this type of treatment many years ago when I first started having pains. I can't thank them enough.
